I feel like hosting a LAN game over hamachi would fix the problem, but Relic for some reason decided to pull this feature out of the Steam release many years ago. I really wish the Steam version of CoH still had LAN support. Then at some point four people can be playing two entirely different games, with ghost AI taking over in the other game. What's so odd is the nature of the desync itself, it seems like some units are in sync at times (like special tanks), but other smaller units aren't.

We've tried to figure out if there is pattern, like if they only happen with expert players, 4x4 maps, non-BK maps and we just can't see any rhyme. What we can't shrug, is the game breaking desync problems that appear in multiplayer games. With that being said the older game can occasionally have frustrating relic crashes, which are rare enough we sort of shrug them off. My friends an myself have been playing with the game for 11 years now, and CoH2 simply just doesn't capture the same experience.
